The PLC Training System consist of a number of clones to reflect many areas of human life/modern world as well as industrial automation (Lift Module, Level Control Module, Traffic Signal Module, X-Y Transfer Module, etc.). Students can interface these systems with PLC and program it in different ways and observe its response.

Innovative Systems PLC curriculum is a combination of text books and automation exercises giving the students state-of-art industry relevant experience.
MIMIC BOARDS:
» This will be a model of a small Lift well segmented into four parts
• 1st part being the ground floor
• 2nd part being the first floor
• 3rd art being the 2nd floor
• 4th art being the motor room
» The module will be made out of 1.2mm CRCA sheet and will stand 750mm high with a footprint of 250mm x 250mm.
» The lift will move up and down the floors on initiation of a push button switches and the floor will sensed by Limit Switches at each floor.
» All electrical wires will be terminated to a screw less terminal strip for connection to the PLC.
» The lift will operate according to the user program.


The Industrial Process Control Module will be a small bottling plant.
» Small bottles will come down a conveyor, which will be filled with any fluid at a filling station.
» The bottles will then move on to the capping station where a cap will be inserted by a pneumatic cylinder.
» The bottles will then moves on to collection tray. The plant will consist of the following:
• Conveyor with motor
• Filling mechanism with pneumatic cylinder, solenoid & tubing
• Capping Station with cap tray, pneumatic cylinder, & solenoid
• Collection tray
» All wires will be terminated to a screw less terminal strip for connecting to the PLC.
The Traffic Signal model will consist of a 4-road crossroad made in 1.2mm CRCA sheet duly powder coated.
• Main road and footpaths will be designated.
• Zebra crossings will be designated.
• At the cross road a 4 way signal system with red/yellow/green LED’s will be provided
• At the zebra crossing walk/no walk signal will be provided.
• All electrical wires will be terminated to a screw less terminal strip for connection to the PLC.


• Two belt conveyors with motors placed at right angles.
• Material moving on the first conveyor is pushed onto the second conveyor on sensing the part concerned with the help of Pneumatic cylinder/Solenoid valve/tubing
• The application explained will be the principal of sorting
• All electrical wires will be terminated to a screw less terminal strip
for connection to the PLC.
The water level controller controls the level of the water in a tank.
» When water level of the tank is low automatically starts the pump.
» When water level is high automatically switch off the pump. PLC gets the signal from level sensor.
» The specification of the water level controller as follows:
• Acrylic water collecting tank and sump tank.
• Water pump
• Level sensor


The Temperature Controller controls the temperature of the heater as per user program.
» The specifications as follows:
• Temperature Sensor PT-100
• Heater
